Avion's Leslie's Harrison, “Harrison,”

Harrison has been special from the beginning.  He was sick at 10 weeks old with gut issues, and that never went away. Harrison spent his first six years in Orange County - running on the beaches.

He has always been a laid-back, tie-dyed, Mr. Cool kind of dog.  Very mellow guy.  He’s had lots of training. He passed the Canine Good Citizen Test easily and zoomed through his herding instinct test. Most of all he is my companion.   He is my gardening pal, camping dog; and he loved going to the police department (I’m a retired dispatcher.). He can no longer get in the car, so now he gets to do whatever he wants - mostly hanging out.  

What is a “Silver Beard”?

A Silver Beard is a Bouvier who has reached their 12th birthday.

Longevity is an important part of our breed legacy and the Bouvier Health Foundation has been honoring our “senior citizens” for over 15 years. We honor any Bouvier registered with the AKC or the CKC that has reached it’s 12th birthday in the past 5 years.
